    This song gives me a sense of freedom, the movie too. Just the idea of leaving everything you know and just live on some distant island..how cool is that.

    Best part is at 5:39, the whole build up leads to that, just wonderful. 5:39 is the orgasm of this song.

    It is true, I do the same with the 4:40 thing. the first part is sooo broing. occasionally the build up is kid of nice, it would be nice if it were like one minute.

    Eyy, I've always thought the same you say, to edit the song by removing the lyrics and leaving the first 4:40 minutes out. That would be perfect! I tried to do it without much success....

    its about art, poems don't have to make a whole lot of sense...and that is essentially what music is. not every song has to spell it all out.

    Karl Hyde writes a lot of his daily observations of people and sometimes the stuff they overhear of other people's conversations make it into their songs.

    personal taste i guess.

    i love the guitars toward the end of this song. one of my favorite chill moments.
